Settings
Configure company branding, colors, logo, PDF templates, and custom fields for each company in NomadBill.
Configure how each company appears across NomadBill
Use Settings to manage the company details that appear on invoices, quotes, and PDF exports. You can update your company profile, upload a logo, choose brand colors, manage PDF templates, and define custom fields for the active company.
If you manage multiple companies, NomadBill stores settings separately for each company.
Company profile
Your company profile controls the business information shown on generated documents. Keep these details accurate so invoices and quotes include the correct sender information.
Update your company profile with details such as:
- Company name — shown as your business name on documents
- Address — used in the company address block on invoices and quotes
- VAT ID — used for VAT-related document details
- Logo — available for branded PDF templates
When you export or preview documents, NomadBill uses this company information in the PDF output. That includes values such as company name, company address, VAT details, and logo placement in supported templates.
Branding and colors
Brand settings control the visual identity used in your PDF templates. Upload your logo and define primary and secondary colors to keep exported documents aligned with your company branding.
Primary and secondary colors are stored with your company settings and can be applied to template accents. Depending on the template, NomadBill uses those colors for headers, highlights, and other visual elements in generated PDFs.
Some branded templates keep body text black and apply your colors only to accents. This improves readability while still matching your brand.
Set up branding
Open your company settings
Go to Settings for the company you want to update. If you work in multiple companies, confirm that you are editing the correct one before making changes.
Update company details
Enter or review your company name, address, and VAT ID. Save the changes so NomadBill can use them in invoices, quotes, and PDF exports.
A successful update means your latest company details appear the next time you preview or export a document.
Upload your logo
Add your company logo in the branding area of Settings. Supported PDF templates can then place that logo in the document header or company section.
After upload, your logo should appear in branded template previews and exported PDFs that include a logo field.
Choose brand colors
Set your primary color and secondary color for the company. NomadBill uses these colors when applying branding to supported PDF templates.
After saving, branded templates should reflect the updated accent colors in previews or generated documents.
PDF templates
PDF templates control the layout and styling of your invoices, quotes, and incoming document PDFs. From Settings, you can open the Templates area to manage templates for different document types.
NomadBill supports branded templates that can use your company logo and colors. Templates are available per document type, and you can choose which template should act as the default.
Read the full guide to manage templates, defaults, and branding options in PDF templates.
Custom fields
Custom fields let you store extra company- or document-related information that does not fit the default fields. Use them when your workflow needs additional labels, references, or internal data points.
Once configured, custom fields can support more tailored document workflows without changing your standard company profile. For setup and usage details, see Custom fields.
Settings are stored per company
When you switch to another company, you are working with a different set of settings. Company profile details, branding, templates, and custom fields do not automatically carry over between companies.
